Allison nicole Baker
Allison returned to Michigan in 2021 to be the event planner for a non-profit in Grand Rapids. She plans events all over the
United States and occasionally in the United Kingdom. The events range from donor dinners, to podcast live recordings, to hybrid conferences for over 1,450 attendees. In her spare time she is Stage Manages productions at the Grand Rapids Civic Theater.
Previously, Allison enjoyed three years in Florida working as the manager of the SCF Neel Performing Arts Center in 2018. She oversaw all technical production aspects for the college and community’s musical endeavors and consulted on the planning and construction of their new performance venue. Prior to this role she spent four summers in Florida working for the Ringling’s Summer Circus Spectacular.
In the past she has had the opportunity to study at the Wayne State University, the Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas, and Bethel University. She received her MFA from Wayne State in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Stage Management. From her undergrad days she holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and loves exploring the philosophical implications of plays and developing a story's ability to impact an audience.
